The 2026 Recap
🍂 The 3rd Annual Fall Vintage Classic took place on September 26, 2026, at Meadowlark Golf Club, bringing together 132 golfers for a full-shotgun Persimmon Scramble celebrating the golden era of golf.
The day featured nine sponsored prize holes, including Mr. Clean’s Hickory Challenge, long-drive competitions, and closest-to-the-pin contests with incredible prizes, including handcrafted persimmon woods and putters.
Beyond the course, guests enjoyed our Vendor Village, live jazz, an Otey Crisman putting experience, tastings from Eden Mill of St. Andrews, and a live Clubhouse Confidential broadcast. Golfers were treated to breakfast, lunch, cigars, custom ball markers, refreshments throughout the round, and an opportunity drawing featuring vintage golf treasures, premium equipment, and golf bags.
Our afternoon awards ceremony recognized our incredible partners, celebrated tournament champions and best-dressed golfers, & welcomed Jordan Borad into our Tournament Heritage Committee.

A Course Perfect for Persimmon
Every autumn, golfers gather at Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach to celebrate the golden era of the game.
The Fall Vintage Classic is more than a tournament it’s a community tradition that brings together players, collectors,
and enthusiasts who share a love for persimmon woods, blade irons, and vintage golf style.
Founded in 1922, Meadowlark is one of Orange County’s oldest courses, its rolling fairways, classic layout,
& timeless charm provide the perfect arena to host an event dedicated to persimmon woods and vintage-inspired golf culture.

About The Tournament
The Fall Vintage Classic unfolds in a shotgun format, creating a lively community atmosphere across the course. Players receive check-in bags with food and drink tickets, cigars, opportunity drawing entries,
and sponsor gifts to set the tone for the day.
Those without persimmons can take advantage of
on-site fittings for loaner clubs provided free by the tournament, while everyone is encouraged to dress the part for the Best Dressed Competition,
offering over $500 in prizes.
The day also features an opportunity drawing and live auction with golf gear and sponsor-donated items, adding even more excitement to the classic tournament experience.
